Campus Cards
A Campus Card is an official university identification credential that certifies the status of campus community members eligible for access to services and resources. Cardholders are required to carry their Campus Card while on campus and will use it for almost everything.
For security reasons, our department will not, under any circumstances, authorize affiliates, employees, or students for a Campus Card. Authorizations by email, letters, or phone calls will not be accepted. Cardholder data is received from the IAM Identity Vault. Various systems such as the Banner and Workday provide cardholder authorizations to the Identity Vault.
VCUCard
The VCUCard is the official Campus Card for Virginia Commonwealth University and VCU Health. All members of the VCU community are required to carry a VCUCard while on campus.
VCU Health Card
The VCU Health Card is a type of Campus Card and is the preferred card at all VCU Health facilities. Both the VCU Health Card and the VCUCard have the same technology; they only differ visually to help distinguish medical providers.
