Campus Card Services staff must receive requests from relevant departmental personnel who are authorized to make purchases and make decisions on behalf of the department. These requests should be submitted in a timely manner to provide enough time for the request to be processed.
Group Cardings
Departments conducting orientations can schedule a time to collectively visit our office.
It is against VCU and VCUCard policy to provide the 16-digit Magstripe Number printed on the front or the Prox Number printed on the back of a cardholder's ID to anyone, including the cardholder. You can request this information directly from the cardholder. If the cardholder has lost their ID, they must replace their Campus Card.
If you have a security issue, please report your problem to the VCU Police Department.
Image Requests
Cardholder images files are available for departments to use in classrooms, web pages and directories.
Composite Images
The use of digital image class composites helps faculty members recognize the faces and names of students in their classes. Faculty and are encouraged to use the Reporting Center to access their own composites.
The composites are considered a part of the Student Record, therefore all Faculty members and selected Records and Registration staff have access to them. Composites are not accessible to most staff members. If the class list is not visible to you, you are not authorized.
Include full names, Banner ID/Employee Numbers, and (if available) dates of birth
In the description of the ticket, please be sure to include the index number for payment
Once the ticket has been submitted, our office will be notified and the ticket will be assigned
You will receive notifications in your VCU email with status updates or changes to your ticket
Approximately 3-5 business days are required for processing, depending on the size of the request
The image(s) will be emailed to the requestor
